Your Reception
If the wedding couple chooses to marry outside of Fistral Blu, we can offer three different settings their reception: The Blu room, The Fistral suite & The Beach venue

The Blu room
The Blu room is available for your reception at any time of the week and can accommodate up to 110 guests for a formal meal or buffet. However depending on the time of the day your reception is held, the access times may vary.

The Fistral suite
The Fistral suite is available for your reception at any time of the week and can accommodate up to 70 guests for a formal meal or buffet. The suite is designed for functions but guests must be aware, unless both rooms are hired, we will open the Blu room for restaurant dinners as usual. If you chose the suite as a setting for a formal meal, you can choose from three styles of seating arrangement. If you opt for a buffet reception, you may set the room however you like. Depending on the number of guests, there may or may not be room for live entertainment such as D.J or musical groups. The Fistral suite is ideal for smaller, more relaxed receptions.

Whether you chose a formal meal or buffet our wedding coordinator Abi Withers will be happy to act as toast master for all-important speeches and toasts.

Your wedding choices
At Fistral Blu we can offer you a number of options to chose from and help you create the wedding of your dreams. We are specially licensed to hold wedding ceremonies in the Fistral suite or The blu room. Whether your ceremony is at Fistral Blu or elsewhere, we can offer the Fistral suite, the blu room or beach venue for that all important wedding reception. Our chef de cuisine will help you design a first class three course menu or an informal buffet that meets your personal requirements.

Your Ceremony
We are now able to perform wedding ceremonies or receptions in the Fistral suite and Blu all year round. Please note that the same room can not generally be used for both ceremony and reception, because of the time required for room preparation and service.

In the Fistral suite
The Fistral suite is an ideal location for a smaller, more intimate wedding ceremony. The room can hold up to 80 guests and is available for ceremonies between 11am Ð 4pm, and will end no later than 5.30pm. The suite can be decorated to your specifications by a member of your party; we will provide access to the room from 9am on your wedding day. If the wedding ceremony is to be held at Fistral Blu, wedding couples must contact the local registry office to make sure all the legal requirements for marriage are met. The wedding couples are required to make sure the registrar is booked for the time of the ceremony. Equally, we are happy to accommodate couples who wish to have an informal commitment or renewing of their vows.

In the Blu room
The blu room is a stunning location for your ceremony and can accommodate over 90 wedding guests. However, there are different availability considerations than the Fistral suite. First, the blu room is not available for wedding ceremonies held on a Saturday or Sunday, except for very exceptional circumstances. The ceremony must finish by 6pm. The blu room can be decorated to your specifications by a member of your party; we will provide access to the room from 9am on your wedding day.

In the Beach venue
The beach venue is a large open plan space over looking Fistral beach on the ground level of our premises and can accommodate over 150 wedding guests. This very versatile room is available for your reception any evening of the week for a buffet style menu. The Beach venue is ideal for receptions where a d.j or band is required.

That something extra The blu room and Fistral suite are equipped with 20" plasma screens. If you wish, these can be used for a special display choice, Whether you wish to show home movies of the bride and groom as children or the first movie they saw together, we think these can add a unique and special touch to the reception
