Your Ceremony
Perched on the edge of Fistral Beach, what better way to start your married life together by over looking magnificent views and capturing the essence of that chilled out surf vibe.

Fistral Blu is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and with a choice of three different “venues” for the celebration, there should be a setting to suit whatever your waterside whim to create the wedding of your dreams.

The Fistral suite can hold up to 100 guests for ceremonies between the hours of 11am – 4pm. The suite can be decorated to your specifications by a member of your party or Fistral Blu staff; we provide access to the room from 9am on your wedding day.

If the wedding ceremony is to be held at Fistral Blu, wedding couples must contact the local registry office to make sure all the legal requirements for marriage are met. The wedding couples are required to make sure the registrar is booked for the time of the ceremony (contact number 01726 68974).

Your Reception
Whether your ceremony is at Fistral Blu or elsewhere, we can offer the Fistral suite & the Blu room for that all important wedding reception.

The Blu room
The Blu room is a spacious, striking room with 180 degree views across the bay. Flooded with natural light, with a large balcony surrounding the room guests can enjoy awe-inspiring sunsets, adding a hopelessly romantic backdrop to the party. Over 100 guests can be accommodated for the wedding breakfast.

Fistral Blu captures the essence of that chilled out atmosphere alongside fine food and slick service. Depending on the time of the day your reception is held, the access times may vary.

The Fistral suite
If you're thinking less big bash more; small and intimate, the Fistral suite offers a cosy solution. Boasting a modern and modish finish after its recent refurbishment, the suite can accommodate up to 70 guests for a formal meal or buffet. A private balcony offers the opportunity to take a break from the revelry, breathe in some fresh sea air and watch the sun slip down.

Both the Fistral suite and the Blu room are fitted with plasma
screens to show home movies or make a captivating and undoubtedly comical supplement to the speeches; our wedding coordinator Abi Withers will be happy to act as toast master if you wish.

The suite is designed for functions but please be aware, unless both rooms are hired (the Fistral Suite & Blu room), we will open the Blu room for restaurant diners as usual with both diner & guest sharing the bar area.

Your wedding choices
With the Atlantic surf breaking at your feet, this endlessly versatile room is ideal for live music or a DJ, allowing you to get down and groove the evening away alongside over 150 guests.

As for that all-important personal factor, the chef is happy to work with you in creating a tantalising tailor made menu, the Caribbean themed evenings are very popular and you are encouraged to personalise your chosen venue by decking it out with decorations.

With ample opportunity to kick off your heels, feel the sand beneath your toes and frolic for the photographer on the beach, Fistral Blu offers a relaxed beachside bash with a touch of elegance.

That something extra
The Blu room and Fistral suite are equipped with 20” plasma screens. If you wish, these can be used for a special display choice, whether you wish to show home movies of the bride and groom as children or the first movie they saw together, we think these can add a unique and special touch to the reception.

Our chef de cuisine will help you design a first class three course menu or an informal buffet that meets your personal requirements.

We are more than happy to take the pressure off by decorating the chosen rooms for you free of charge; decorations to be supplied.
